Dad, Kent, Allison and I (Emily) enjoyed some great racing on Saturday night! Terry introduced us to the races but because of his knee could not join us :( Saturday was the Summer Nationals - the biggest event of the year! We saw Pro Mods, Top Fuels, and Jet Cars. If you don't know what they are, don't worry, I didn't either until I met Terry but now I'm in love (with Terry and the races). Here are some photos from the fun, fast, fueled night.
I liked the nitrous-methane funny cars the best. Didn't they say that yo had to be a pilot to "drive" teh jet car. The one jet car just recently set the Texas land speed record of 340 mph.

They said a "jet car pilot" license. I guess it's a specialized pilot.
